Current Conditions: Cloudy (14 consecutive days with snow on ground) 


Flurries thru the overnight turned to a wintry bag kinda morning.

1/25-1/27 NW Flow Event 

ETN Tri Cities area dusting possible maybe up to inch. Most will see novelty flakes. 

ETN Foothills to 3500’ 1-2” . Best glow location’s   areas will see the more high side. 

ETN High Country 4000’ 2-4” with more like 3-5” on up in those great NW Flow Spots. 


WNC 2500’-3500’ Asheville and to the border of TN. Novelty flakes with some getting surprised by a dusting or so. Closer to border beat 3500’ 1-2” on up. 


WNC high country along border 4000’ on up. 2-4” looks about what most will see but closer to border in those prime spots 3-5” .

Really love sharing this microclimate information but most importantly love interacting with you all. The other night a anonymous person made a very generous contribution to the weather fund. The funds that are given helps tremendously towards new equipment like weather stations/cameras/chasing/and lot more. I want to give as much information accurately as I possibly can especially for the high country areas that get barely any attention at all.
